Under Michigan la there are certain notification requirements that must be met in terms of mailings and publications.	Step 1: A draft of the proposed ordinance is introduced before the Village Council and a public hearing date set. The Village Charter establishes requirements for publication and notice of the Village Council public hearing.
Step 2: A public hearing is held.
Step 3: The Planning Commission makes a recommendation on the draft to the Village Council	Step 2: A public hearing is held.

2011-09	An amendment to the zoning code to modify the regulation of fences.	Adopted at the March 15th Village Council Meeting Awaiting codification, and possible amendment via proposed ordinance 2011-12.
2011-12	An ordinance to allow the keeping the backyard chickens under limited circumstances.	A public hearing is planned for the December 20th Village Council meeting.
2011-14	An ordinance to rezone a parcel of land located at 392 S. Coldwater Road.	A public hearing is planned for the December 20th Village Council meeting.
2011-15	An ordinance to regulate peddlers and other solicitors in the Village of Lake Isabella	Proposed ordinance to be introduced at the October 18th Village Council Meeting. - Further action tabled until the first regular meeting of 2012.
